“Oh my gosh!” I yelled across the room! My birthday came once again, and I received the best present ever! “ Close your eyes and hold out your hands.” My mom told me. So I did. A few seconds later, a very heavy object landed on my hands as I opened my eyes. Huh? A hamster cage? I don't see a hamster! Just a fluffy ball of fluff! Oh wait! It's moving! And there he stood. Looking up at me with a confused/ happy face. “ How did you get him?” I asked my mom. She explained to me that his old owner was abusing him, so he got brought to my mom's vet work and she got to keep him! I wanted to name him Jack, but since it was his old name, I named him Joey. Joey the dwarf hamster. He is black with white on his body. He has pink ears and a pink nose. He is SOOO cute!!!!! :-) His birthday is coming up, and he would be 5 years old on 10/20. (I'm working on posting part 2)
